New Orleans is know for it’s spirit, and more recently known for bringing craft and boutique into the beverage industry.  New Orleans is still a relatively small city in comparison, but remains a city impossible to ignore.  Given the nature of the industry, brands need a face in the market to showcase craft products, and familiarize the community with their excellence.  

Phil Minissale started working in beverage sales in 2013, quickly establishing himself as a sales director for a New Orleans Rum company.  There, he managed 8 different markets, facilitating relationships with distributors, media, and account buyers across the country.

Minissale decided to open up his own Brokerage & Consulting company in late 2016, considering the demand for dedicated, shared craft representation within the industry.  

The sole purpose is to provide brands the attention necessary throughout the market, without the costs associated to a full-time representative.   Minissale’s relationships extend through multiple markets outside of Louisiana, include Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, Georgia, Illinois, Minnesota, New York, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.

Henry Preiss Imports

Henry Preiss embarked on his journey into the importing business by joining his father’s firm in 1974.  A true pioneer in developing and strategically distributing small premium brands across the US, Henry Preiss created an iconic company in the industry. July 2016 marks the return of Preiss Imports. The legacy of importing specialized liqueurs began with Erich Preiss sharing his passion for the business in the 1960s. 

IMPEX Beverages

This portfolio holds unique & rare whisky including: Chapter 7, Exclusive Malts, Isle of Skye, Kilchoman, Penderyn, Tipperary, Kurayoshi, Ohishi, and Fukano.  Ranging from exclusive single barrel whiskies from Scotland, Ireland, and Wales, to beautifully sherry cask rested rice whisky from Japan.  Savour slow, and pour another. 

el buho mezcal

El Buho is a blanco mezcal made from 100% Espadin agave.  First, hand-selected agave are slowly roasted underneath Oaxacan earth in a stone pit fire fuled by local oak for a week before being crushed by horse on a tahona stone mill.  The mash ferments for a couple days and then is double distilled in a 5th generation alembic still.

El buho especial

El Buho Especial features non-Espadin mezcal made by the Jimenez Mendez family's youngest son Luyo.  The non-espadin varietals agaves are harvested at 12-30 years of ago, resulting in very limited productions.  The agaves are both wild and semi-cultivated.  All Especial bottles are black and labeled with artesanal text.

Left Bank Bourbon Whisky

Left Bank Bourbon is the history of bourbon in a bottle. This very small batch bourbon recreates the history of the spirit. It is distilled and aged in Kentucky, then floated downriver for bottling in New Orleans. When a batch of their barrels is ready for the journey, they add our own blend of finishing staves to the barrels and prepare them for their journey. They marry the barrels into a batch and bottle them without chill filtration.​

Ragged Branch

Ragged Branch, Virginia’s farm distillery’s mission is creating excellent, independently handcrafted bourbon while adhering to the time honored traditions and distilling processes is reflected in every sip. Their range includes Signature Bourbon, Bottled in Bond Bourbon, Bottled in Bond Wheated Bourbon, Cowboy Cut Cask Strength Wheated Bourbon, and their Signature Bottled in Bond Rye Whiskey.

TRäKál

The spirit of Patagonia. Local apples, crab-apples, and pears create the base alcohol. During the second distillation, native berries: maqui, murta, and sauco are added. To overcome the hurdle of seasonally-grown herbs, the master distiller’s mother suggested making essential oils from each wild herb varietal in order to capture their essence year-round. A proprietary blend of these essential oils: tepa, laurel, mint, paramela, and canelo are vapour-infused on the third distillation — giving the spirit a truly unique flavour and viscosity.

Norden Aquavit

Never content with simple American-Made replicas, today owner Robyn Cleveland crafts classically inspired Aquavit enhanced by unique blends of botanicals from their own backyard and around the world for the quintessentially modern experience. Countless experiments with botanical combinations during arduous trial runs eventually landed 10 defining botanicals into his Original Taffel Style recipe. From there, Robyn honed the details of his distillation techniques and set standards he could reproduce for generations to come. What he shares today is a culmination of these efforts. To that end Norden remains firmly anchored in and informed by tradition of Aquavit as a sipping spirit above all else.

Glass Revolution Imports is an importer of fine wine and spirits. Remember the Redemption Whiskey brand? LA CETTO

Founded by Angelo Cetto, history says that Cetto started the wine business in 1928, bought a number of small wineries in the 1980, and now he is responsible for more than half of the country’s wine. Cetto cultivates 2,500 acres of vineyards in Baja California; also tequila and olive oil.
